Want to be a Sensei?

I started this blog with the explicit intent to help people find jobs in Portland at companies NOT named Nike or Intel. So it is a surprise to us both that I am posting about Nike.

While surfing around the interwebs doing some research for www.pdxcompanies.com I came across the most interesting job title I've seen in a long time: Human Resources Sensei!

It's at Nike and you just might be the lucky person. Visit http://www.nikebiz.com, click on "careers", then on "US", and finally on "search" near the lower right side. Search for job # 036280.

If you don't want to go through all that (they sure don't make it easy...I can't even link to it for you) here is an excerpt from the job posting:

"As the Human Resources Sensei you’ll direct the development and ongoing administration of the Human Resources Management (HRM) initiative with respect to integrating HRM best practices and capacity building into Lean implementation through the strengthening of the Cultural of Empowerment."
